About 25 years ago I had came up with the same idea and basic design for backpackers. I called it the "Asswiper2000." No Kickstarter back then though.

I think it's probably all or most of the above. My thoughts of it are my wife and I are both disabled and have a healthy sex life, it just took a little extra figuring things out that worked best.

Drive Medical makes the best walkers and they do have bariatric models. I found a few rated for 500lbs at http://www.drivemedical.com/index.php/bariatric-aluminum-folding-walker-two-button-714.html .
