DIY Solutions

Post by Easy3D » 5 years ago

Hello,

I'm a student at Penn State and recently I've been involved with a club that focuses on developing prosthetic training devices for physically disabled kids and teenagers in the area. I've been looking for some inspiration to design a more realistic and comfortable upper limb prosthetic training device for one of our older teenagers who was born with the use of his thumb and index finger.

What are some solutions that you might have taken to achieve a similar goal? I have access to most hardware tools and 3D printers.

I've heard of things like that before, how interesting. Maybe thought of plant based material for the prothstectics?
