Disabilities-R-Us

Hi, I'm 48 male, disabled from spinabifida. It's been like a dating version of a death sentence, trying to find any kind of intimacy (more than platonic) on places like okcupid being disabled and on disability. It's been a really bleak, lonely scene. The doctors would have said my case was "mild" as I was able to get around on crutches, but I guess able-bodied people didn't see it that way. But now my knees are weakening from arthritis and I'm having recurring kidney/bladder health issues, and it's only gotten worse since then.
I honestly hope I can find a community here that feels a little less bleak.
