I have eight of these around the house, in my van and use them all of the time. They help me move my feet, lift things, help transferring, push things, make getting my footwear on easy, and a thousand other things.

Looks very useful.  How are they at getting socks on?

Something I use lots is E-Z Reacher 32-in Pro Plus E-Z Reacher

I've tried others that broke fast or wouldn't grip very well and this one has been the best.

I have a couple of the easy reachers, and a few other makes - the one I listed can help with most dressing tasks, but socks completely defeat me - it is possible someone with better control could deal with socks, but not me.

I use the easy reachers all over the house, and in my van, they are great. the type you posted are better than a lot of them - they spring so get a good grip on things.
