Regarding Mike3161

So it happened again, yes again, and I would like to apologise for having let it continue this long but I am a hopeless diplomat, I really thought talking we could get somewhere but I have failed, so now it's time to action.
Susan tried to join in the conversation that was turning into a racist attack on another member, it was a benign comment, possibly a bit of a joke and that's how everybody took it, most people did not understand Mike3161's reaction when he started calling her a bitch he even joked back himself before throwing a temper tantrum threatening to never come back and withdraw funding but let's slow down and have a look at this step-by-step .
I'm going to show the lines which were said which led up to what happened without everybody else speaking but I will also provide the full transcript so everybody can see the full context in its entirety but it started with the following

So I think we can see at this point right up until that last line, it looks like Mike3161 making racial jokes at the expense of another chatter who asked some very simple questions, and that Mike3161 pretty much opened himself up for any comments back, and I do believe that if it had been anybody other than Susan, it would have been taken as a joke, the only thing I cannot work out is if Susan said "you might enjoy it" in reference to eating the meat, which considering the time to the possibly is, it was a bit too much of a quick response for the having sex with a goat comment, or it was a reference to having sex with a goat , and I'm sure I have no need to remind everybody that we are an international room with people of different races, religions, etc but then the next thing happened which do not understand why, so let's have a look at that

I want to state that Daniel had not been in the chat room for 5 days before this incident, and had no prior argument, quarrel, disagreement with Mike3161
I'm sorry, but what the hell? How did we go from quite obviously joking to grievously insulting and humiliating Daniel in front of everybody, I'm sure you have all seen Daniel's comments on the Facebook group page, he clearly expresses his how this has upset him!

Daniel has carried this room through an ever evolving Internet from its infancy almost 20 years ago through his hard work and his own personal money until recent years where we became more community oriented and reliant on donations. Daniel has also tried hard to get away from this kind of BS by not only stepping down as Admin but also distancing himself from his own chat room! And people still managed to smear his name, is it any wonder these things have happened?
Well, it just goes on, check the transcript, but we can see here the things which have been said are already trying to misconstrue the situation, Susan did not make rude remarks, she tried to joke (although this will be denied) and it was also stated that "she told him to try fucking a camel" which she never did, let's look at the quotes again

it will be argued that Susan should be banned for her comments towards them although I will have to admit, in the past the emphasis was always on the other parties, there never used to be a problem with mike3161 until recently, but you see, they have also been asked not to make any comments and to use ignore and very recently I might add
Actually let's revise, there was the forum post posted in both the room and on the Facebook group page, private pleadings from myself, open pleadings in the chat room, a 2nd posting of the forum post in the chat room, private pleadings from moderators, from what I understand phonecalls, and if they could see what Susan said they were ignoring all of these pleas by not using the ignore feature themselves so all parties are in the wrong in that regards!
And let's not forget the racist attack which is also a part of this mess!
So I have had to update Susan's list of instructions in an effort to try and keep the peace, she apologised and agreed to comply as much as possible, if only conversations with the other parties had gone like that!
Please note, I don't expect everybody to be perfect, I am aware there will be slipups!
Taking everything into consideration, I have banned Mike3161 but not just because of the incident with Susan alone, most people should be aware of the temper tantrum policy, it's on the forum, it's on the website (link provided underneath) but also because of his unjustified attack on Daniel and his nasty racist comments towards another member, but we also have a tradition of granting people's wishes when they threaten to never come back in such a way!
